The Whitelaw family is an old Shadowhunter family.
History[]
A branch of the Whitelaws ran the New York Institute from as early as 1903, until they were killed by the Circle in 1989.[1][2] Ironically, they were replaced by Robert and Maryse Lightwood,[3] both of whom had a hand in killing the last inhabitants of the Institute.
Imogen Whitelaw was among the last to bear the Whitelaw name. The name has since become available for choosing, and Ascendant Gen Almodovar took on the name.
