Timothy Rockford was a Centurion and a member of the Cohort.
History[]
After the reopening of the Scholomance at the end of the Dark War, Timothy was one of the Shadowhunters who attended the school and became a Centurion. At some point, he was recruited, along with several of his companions, by his friend and fellow Centurion Zara into the Cohort, a group led by her father, Horace Dearborn.
In 2012, Timothy was sent to the Los Angeles Institute, as a part of a team of Centurions, to look for Malcolm Fade's body and the Black Volume of the Dead.
When he returned to the Scholomance, Timothy was among the group of members of the Cohort that, upon finding Kieran, a faerie prince, hiding in Diego Rosales's room, tortured him and dragged him to the Hollow Place with the intention of throwing Kieran into the enchanted pool.
Shortly after, Timothy and a group of Cohort members under Zara's command followed Diana Wrayburn and Consul Jia Penhallow to Brocelind Forest where they caught them meeting with Gwyn ap Nudd, the leader of the Wild Hunt. He and Zara took away the women's weapons and chained their hands, taking them prisoners for consorting with faeries.
Later, Timothy participated in the battle that unfolded at the Cohort's parley and fought alongside the Cohort against Downworlders and his fellow Shadowhunters. He even faced off against Jace Herondale, who, like most of the members and supporters of Livia's Watch, was holding back so as not to hurt him. Still, Timothy was later killed on the battlefield.[1]
