Round Tom is a faerie builder who was hired by Julian Blackthorn for the renovation of Blackthorn Hall.
Biography[]
In 1903, Round Tom was acquainted with Hypatia Vex and her salon, the Hell Ruelle. Hypatia trusted him enough to briefly put him in charge of the salon while she convened with Cordelia Carstairs.[1]
Over a century later, Tom and his crew were hired by Julian Blackthorn to help with the structural repairs on Blackthorn Hall. At first he and his crew took advantage of Julian but after being spoken to by the Unseelie King, they stopped slacking off. However, at some point it became apparent to him that the home was cursed and so he refused some services until it was gone and required a higher charge for such conditions.
During his time working on the property, he also met the First Heir's descendant Kit Herondale—whose heritage he was able to discern straight-away.
When he and his men finished their work and bid farewell, Tom made it a point to mention that he hoped he never saw Julian or Emma Carstairs again.[2]
Physical description[]
According to Emma and Julian, Round Tom resembles a garden gnome due to his pointy hat and beard. He is also, reportedly, "not all that round".[2]
