Projection is a type of magic that allows a person's three-dimensional image to appear in a place without being physically present.
History[]
Projection was invented by an unnamed warlock, or possibly a team of warlocks, in 1958 on the Indian subcontinent. It spread quickly throughout the Shadow World, mostly eliminating the need for Sanctuaries in Institutes as it allowed beings such as vampires, for whom the Sanctuaries were primarily used, to appear in Institutes without being affected by the hallowed ground on which they are built.[1]
Known practitioners[]
- Valentine Morgenstern †
- Raphael Santiago †

Trivia[]
- While projections are usually only images of a being and cannot be touched, Valentine Morgenstern was able to kill Inquisitor Aldertree by materializing his Projected hand inside him.[2]
- The ability to project can apparently be disrupted by faerie rings.[3]
- It is apparently difficult to Project from the Gard.[4]
