Piskies are mischievous little faeries.
History[]
Sometime before September 2012, piskies were supposedly exiled from Faerie and have been living in the mundane world since.
At one point in his life, Malcolm Fade befriended piskies in Cornwall.
When Malcolm's former lover Annabel Blackthorn was resurrected in 2012, the Cornish piskies told her when Julian Blackthorn and Emma Carstairs began staying in Malcolm's cottage. Aware that Annabel was in contact with the piskies in the area, Julian and Emma asked their friends about how to trap piskies and Kieran provided them with answers. Annabel, having anticipated their plan, had the piskies lead Julian and Emma into a trap at the Porthallow Church, though not all of them were aware of Sabnock's presence in the church. Julian confronted and threatened them about the trickery, causing them to flee.[1] Despite this encounter, these piskies joined other faeries in heeding Julian's call for a war council meeting to fight back against the Cohort at the Los Angeles Institute.[2]
Description[]
Piskies are described as tiny, scrawny creatures, with pallid, almost translucent skin and delicate faces. They have huge black pupilless eyes, which can be marled with other colors, and pale hair. They appear innocent and childlike and talk in small, high voices.[1]
Trivia[]
- Piskies love milk, bread, honey, and dead mice.[1]
- Piskies speak an ancient-sounding language, different from the gentry language of Faerie.[1]
