Park Slope, Brooklyn

Park Slope is a neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York City. The neighborhood takes its name from its location on the western slope of neighboring Prospect Park.

Its east-west side streets are populated by many historic brownstones, once the single residence of wealthy families but has since bit split into separate apartments. Jocelyn and Clary Fray, as well as Madame Dorothea, lived in one such brownstone apartment, until the Frays moved and Madame Dorothea died.

St. Francis Xavier School, the school Clary and Simon attended, is also located there.
