No. 16 is a house on Cheyne Walk in Chelsea, London once rented out by the werewolf Woolsey Scott.
History[]
Woolsey Scott lived here in the late 1800s; his brother Ralf also lived here until his death, his room left unused. When Magnus Bane broke up with Camille Belcourt in 1878, he moved in with him for a short time. It was in this house that Magnus summoned many demons, including the Greater Demon Marbas, for Will Herondale.[1]

Trivia[]
- This house exists in the real world. At the time when The Infernal Devices is set, the house was actually being rented out by Algernon Charles Swinburne, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Hall Caine,[2] and they were joined, occasionally, by Rossetti's brother, William Michael Rossetti,[3] George Meredith.[4][5]
