Neddy is a werewolf street urchin who works as a newsboy and runs errands as an Irregular out of the Devil Tavern—often for the Merry Thieves.
Biography[]
By 1903, Neddy had a job selling newspapers in London. He also took up the job of running errands for the Devil Tavern and its customers. This included the Merry Thieves who he became quite familiar with.
After investigating the flat of Emmanuel Gast, Matthew Fairchild spotted him nearby and went up to him requesting a service. He paid him to bring Cordelia Carstairs's satchel to Christopher Lightwood at the Devil.
Some days later he was employed by him once again to deliver a note to Cordelia from James Herondale; summoning her to the Devil at once as Christopher had been wounded.[1]
Some months later, he became the usual note carrier for the Merry Thieves and their friends, Cordelia and Lucie Herondale. He delivered many messages for the group ranging from excused absenses to summons to James's new home.[2]
