The Mysterious Merchants' Bazaar of the Bizarre was a Shadow Market in the guise of a carnival on Lookout Mountain in 1936.
History[]
The Greater Demon Belial involved himself with the Market and had it opened near Chattanooga, Tennessee after a vein of adamas was uncovered in the caverns beneath the nearby Ruby Falls in 1936. On October 23 that year, posters for the Market were scattered around Chattanooga, quickly getting attention. Belial had based himself at the end of the carnival's Maze of Mirrors, having shaped the adamas into a half mask and using it to give the mundanes who dared enter and reach him dangerous illusions, even the Sight in one case.
On the 29th, Iron Sister Emilia and the Silent Brother Zachariah were sent to investigate the Market and the suspected presence of adamas. It was closed down the same day when Zachariah ordered Belial to give the adamas to Emilia and to send the Market away as it did not belong there.[1]
