Mexico City, officially known as México, D. F. or simply D. F., is the federal district, capital of Mexico and seat of the federal powers of the union. Mexico City is the country's largest and most populous city as well as one of the most important financial centers in the Americas. It is located in the Valley of Mexico, a large valley in the high plateaus at the center of Mexico.[1]

- On January 29, 2016, the city ceased to be called the Federal District (Spanish: Distrito Federal or D.F.) and is now officially known as Ciudad de México, or CDMX. However, because the latest setting of the series is so far 2012, this is not yet canon within the series.
