  • I was just about to remove the Mundanes category you'd added on Meliorn's page but I see that you've undone it. I see you realized it, good.

However, I'd like to ask where this is from:

"The Seelie Queen was one of Meliorn’s few true allies. He was seen as an outsider by many of the Fair Folk for being half-human and she was the one who granted him his social position by giving him a place at her court ever since he was a child. For that, he was loyal to her his whole life."

Not that I don't believe this, but I don't remember it. We can't all be expected to remember all this, which is why an emphasis is placed on adding references for additions to article propers.

    • ... you said "then" in a different sentence, the first sentence didn't sound like a "tell me later". "I believe." ;)

I'd rather it not happen in the first place so corrections don't need to be done. And no, I don't want you to correct them after the fact. Edits for those are again minor, and I don't want to give you more reasons to go back to a page you've already edited. :)

I saw that. The question mark was because I thought the removal of "it was on" was unnecessary and didn't really improve on the article.

    • You're right, sorry, English is not my native language and sometimes there can be things I can misunderstand or miswrite, that's why I removed that part in the article, which now rereading, I see wasn't necessary, bad interpretation on my part.

  • Hi Rvrodrigues, and welcome to The Shadowhunters' Wiki! Thank you for visiting the wiki and contributing. Participating here comes with some responsibilities, however. The content of this automated message is important, so please read through it to avoid any potential problems.

This wiki is for the Shadowhunters books. The wiki for the show is the Shadowhunters on Freeform Wiki.

As should be obvious from the wiki design and content, this wiki is focused solely on the books, not the TV series, and should thus not contain any information from it. Blatantly adding show-exclusive information will result in an instant, temporary block without warning because of the obvious, recurring, and very destructive nature of this violation (particularly because this causes false belief and confusion among book readers). And again, because this should be obvious. The block will be temporary and brief, should just be enough time to make you aware of your mistake.

    • If you need help getting started, check out our help pages. For general help, you could also stop by Community Central to explore the forums and blogs.
    • Interested in editing articles? Look around the wiki for an idea about the page formats.
      • Already making consecutive contributions? See the wiki standards and other rules about acceptable information. To know more about the format of pages, see this sample article and look around the wiki for an idea.
      • If you feel like becoming a regular editor on the wiki, I implore that you read the wiki's general policies and look around the wiki for a feel of how things work around the wiki. Once you've gotten a hang of things and decide to stick around for editing, make sure to proceed to the more comprehensive policies and guidelines. Ask an admin if you need to.
      • Uploading images? See the Media Guidelines page.
      • If your edits are being undone (or if your uploads are being deleted) and you don't understand why (or if no one has reached out to you about your edits), you should find the reason or the violation you may have made in the edit summary or in the policy pages linked above.
    • Want to interact with fellow fans in the community? Join the ongoing Forum threads or Discussions, or start a new one yourself! Those are also good places to get wiki- or series-related help, if needed.
    • You could also check out the Community Corner for the monthly updates on the wiki.

    • Maybe, I didn’t explain myself well, but that was not what I was asking, I got that from your previous reply. What I wanted to know was if I should still add the category in the editing window instead of where I was doing it before (at the bottom of the reading view of an article) if I don’t have any other changes to make on the page. I hope it is better explained now.

And I don’t mean to bother you, I just ask all these questions, that you may find stupid, because I’m trying to learn how to do things right so you don’t have to keep bringing things to my attention, but if I’m annoying you, I apologize once again.

    • Ah, yeah, that's not what I got when I first read your message, sorry. No, you don't need to. I did just point it out to you because I noticed when you did it before/after a separate edit in the article.
