The loyalty rune (e.g. the Loyal To rune) is a permanent rune of loyalty that binds the Shadowhunter to the person who marked them.[1]
History
Valentine Morgenstern once made the application of this rune a condition of his ultimatum to the Clave when he declared war on them, demanding a loyalty rune and oath of obedience to him.[2]
