Louisa is the ex-girlfriend of Alfie.
History[]
Louisa and Alfie were together in the 1920s, until Louisa left him after a misunderstanding that involved a party, a letter, and possibly a dog and a speedboat or a mountain cabin. Their separation led to Alfie's distress, alcoholism and later his attempt to take his own life.[1]
