Lily Jane Collins is a British-American actress and model. She portrayed Clary Fray on The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

Lily was cast as Clary Fray for the film adaptation of The Mortal Instruments as early as December 2010.[1] She had been a fan of the books prior to being cast. After being cast, Lily started a Twitter account (@LilyAsClaryFray) where she tweeted "as Clary", as well as a Facebook page, both of which she used to reach out to the fans of the series and to share some details of the development process of the film. Lily also read with some potential actors for the casting of Jace, until Jamie Campbell Bower was finally cast in 2011.
