Jarog the Enraged is a kelpie who fought in the battle against the Cohort, in September 2012.
History[]
In September 2012, Dane Larkspear bridled Jarog and used him to track Emma Carstairs and Julian Blackthorn in Faerie. Some time later, Julian killed Dane and freed him. Jarog fed on Dane's body and promised to return Julian's kindness.
A week later, at the Cohort's parley, Jarog was at the battle. When Julian's seraph blade did not work on a demon, Jarog intervened and slammed his hoof into its chest, chasing the Eidolon demon away.[1]

Trivia[]
- Though never mentioned in the books by name, his name was revealed online by Cassandra Clare with a flower card by Cassandra Jean.
- At some point of time before the Edwardian era, he apparently stole Pickles's rightful place as the heir to the kelpie throne—something which resulted in the latter's drinking habits. This incident caused them to become enemies.[2]
