Isaac Laquedem, also known as the Wandering Hunter, is one of the eight living warlocks who claim to have been born earlier than Jonathan Shadowhunter, and is confirmed to be older than Baba Agnieszka.
Biography[]
Isaac Laquedem was said to be born in the first half of the seventh century in Southwestern France. He became known widely for his warlock mark—a large and impressive set of stag's antlers. Legends of a man with antlers who rode on a hunt across France are believed to have originated from him, so early French Shadowhunters, who were sure that the Wandering Hunter was a myth, were astonished to meet Laquedem.
Laquedem has stopped hunting for a long time now, and he is currently living on a farm near Bergerac. Despite his age, Laquedem is said to not be a good source of historical knowledge on any topic other than the forests of France.[1]

Trivia[]
- Isaac Laquedem is the French name assigned to the Wandering Jew—a mythical immortal man who taunted Jesus on the way to the Crucifixion and was then cursed to walk the earth until the Second Coming.[2]
