Helen Blackthorn is a Shadowhunter from the Los Angeles Institute.
Biography[]
- This character's history is identical to that of her alternate dimension counterpart up until just before the Dark War, where the timeline split and the following changes took place.
Dark War[]
During Sebastian Morgenstern's invasion of Alicante in 2007, Helen was with her siblings in the Accords Hall. When Sebastian's forces overpowered the Nephilim, a group of warlocks opened a Portal to New York City but only let children through, so Mark and Helen had to stay in Alicante while their younger siblings left.
Once in the New York shelter, Julian and his family were kept informed of the war effort in Idris by Helen. It was through her messages that they learned that Mark had been taken by faeries. They were also made aware of the spreading blight in Alicante and later learned that Idris had fallen to Sebastian and his army, as well as the demons who came through the doorways made by the blight. Without a detailed death toll, the Blackthorn children were left unaware of Helen and Aline's fate.[1]
Physical description[]
Helen Blackthorn is pale, beautiful, and petite, with her faerie blood contributing to her loveliness. She has pale, white-gold hair that falls in ringlets and is often tucked back to show off her pointed ears. She also has the trademark blue-green eyes of her family.
