Description[]
Harpyia demons have black wings made of rags instead of feathers, gaunt white bodies and taloned claws. They are white-faced and have yellow eyes with black dot pupils and mouths with rows of crooked, jagged teeth that make them look like they are smiling.
History[]
In September 2012, Cristina Rosales and Mark Blackthorn fought a group of Harpyia demons at a confluence of ley lines in Vasquez Rocks while investigating the ley line contamination. They were rescued by Kieran astride his horse, Windspear, and the demons were all killed either during the fight or in the consequent explosion of the Shadowhunters' truck.[1]
