At Cuzco, on their way to Machu Picchu, Geoffrey was complaining to his companion Kitty when the warlock Magnus Bane approached them, speaking in Spanish. Pleased with his appearance and ensemble, Geoffrey asked Kitty to ask him if they could take photos together. Magnus agreed and posed with Kitty as Geoffrey took their photos. Magnus and Kitty conversed in Spanish, and while a distracted Geoffrey looked for someone to take their photos, the pair ran off.
