Biography[]
Effie was born into a long line of mundanes who had the Sight and serviced Shadowhunters.
In 1903, Effie left her job working for the Pounceby's as she was hired by Risa to serve as a maid to newlyweds James and Cordelia Herondale at their new house of Curzon Street.[1]
Personality[]
Effie is frank and does not hesitate to convey her annoyance anytime she can. She manages to criticize her master in a way that keeps him on his toes all day. She can be quite unhelpful at times and will announce when she is taking the day off rather than ask.
