Edith is a mundane housekeeper in the New York Institute, then under the supervision of Edgar Graymark, in 1929.
History[]
In December 1903, Edith was brought in as extra staff at the London Institute for James Herondale and Cordelia Carstairs's wedding. At some point, the Prince of Hell Belial helped Tatiana Blackthorn to possess the maid—which based on her broken wrist, involved a struggle—so that she could oversee the event and make sure her daughter, Grace Blackthorn, did not ruin their plans. When Christopher Lightwood came into the room where the pair were conversing, Tatiana left the maid and she collapsed to the floor. Bridget Daly, the Institute's head servant, accused the maid of faking being unconscious before seeing to her and her injuries.[1]
Twenty-six years later, in 1929, Edith worked at the New York Institute for Edgar Graymark. She was there to greet Magnus Bane when he came to warn Edgar of Aldous Nix, and to escort him out of the building.[2]
