Cyril Tanner is the carriage driver of the London Institute.
History[]
Cyril is the brother of Thomas. Their family possessed the Sight, allowing them to see the Shadow World, and has been serving Shadowhunters for centuries.
Cyril worked at the Institute in Brighton, where he was trained fairly well to fight, while Thomas was in London, as a driver and a servant. When he was killed, Cyril moved to London to replace him.[1]
Personality[]
Cyril was a kind helper to the residents of the London Institute. He and Thomas shared some similarities but were also quite different. Cyril had a calmer and less diffident demeanor, whereas Thomas was more high-strung in comparison.
Physical description[]
Cyril is a young man; he is tall, muscular, and has dark brown curling hair. He is said to look much like his brother Thomas.[1]
