This unnamed servant is a Sighted mundane who worked at the Lightwoods' residence.

In 1878, he told his cousin Cyril Tanner about the forthcoming return of Tatiana Blackthorn from her honeymoon with her husband Rupert, resulting in an uproar in the household due to her rumored unpleasant disposition.[1]
After Benedict Lightwood reached the final stages of demon pox, he turned into a giant worm and murdered several of his servants. It's unknown if Cyril's cousin was one of them.[2]
