Baigujing is a Greater Demon that banded with Yanluo in attacking China in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Biography[]
Yanluo began terrorizing the Shadowhunters, Downworlders, and mundanes of China—and Shanghai especially—as early as the 18th century. At some point during this, he decided to team up with a number of other powerful demons to wreak more havoc; Baigujng was among them. She was made a captain of their army of demons.
When Yanluo was killed in 1875, Baigujing was in Diyu—Yanluo's realm. The Portal between this world and Diyu was permanently closed, trapping Baigujing, her daughters, and a number of other demon species.
No one had seen her or her lackeys in Shanghai till 2010, when they inexplicably began flooding out of Portals into the city thanks to Shinyun Jung, Ragnor Fell, and Sammael. Though her attendants were seen during this time, she was never found.[1]
Physical description[]
She is a shapeshifter so she can have many forms. Her real appearance is a skeleton, much like the demons refered to as her daughters.[1]
