Aeval is a faerie that Magnus Bane is acquainted with.
History[]
Aeval first encountered Magnus during the latter's visit to Lou Walters's Latin Quarter nightclub to see Mae West. Aeval was a chorus girl with glamour on her, making her more noticeable to Magnus. They had since been friendly, mainly for consulting with and gaining information from one another.
In 1953, Aeval was again approached by Magnus, who hoped to save the newly-Turned Raphael Santiago. He asked her about the vampire feeding off of children, as Magnus knew that faeries always had gossip about vampires. She told him about Louis Karnstein and encouraged Magnus to kill him before the Shadowhunters decide to wipe out all vampires because of him.[1]
