So today (3.14, by the American date system) is pi day. So let us celebrate with two of the most iconic quotes in TSC, both involving pie.
Tomorrow I won’t be at school because there aren’t enough teachers, but I probably will still have to go in after, at least until the schools shut (if they do). The three clubs I do outside of school are cancelled, the concert I was going to perform in on Saturday is also cancelled. Sporting events as well. I know some chess events have been delayed, or cancelled altogether. But at least where I am there aren’t many cases.
I hope everyone stays well and safe, even if life is difficult it will get better once all this is over!

Red Scrolls of Magic. I’m reading it right now.
^ I don’t think it’s possible to be a child of Hera (although I’m basing this off PJO, and this might not be anything to do with PJO).
Child of Hades. I’m more of a child of Athena, but I’ll accept that. And course Leo is a child of Hephaestus, but people with Leo as their star sign are children of Dionysus.
Have you posted that one on the Riordan fandom?
Let’s see how many things we can come up with (so please number them):
1: when you sing Demon Pox repeatedly to annoy your friends.
2: when you go up to somebody who’s dyed their hair and say ‘I am naturally blonde!’
3: when you find a fan of the series and you get into a conversation about TSC before shouting at them for not knowing something from the books.
You’d have to edit the last one, since it says you have to wait until 2019 for the next book.
Also, thanks for the mango.
Some other advice: don’t read the books in the order I read them in.
CoB, LM, LoS, TfSA (so basically anything mentioned in those like Jace’s surname, Sebastian, and the Cold Peace I had spoilt), CoA-CoLS, TID, CoHF.
I also know some of what happens in QoAaD because I’m too curious for my own good and I enjoy randomly looking at wiki pages.
Ducks are bloodthirsty little beasts.
Demon pox.
Pie. (I did not make a pie as well as throwing poultry pie to the ducks in Hyde Park)
Mangoes.
Father’s a worm, Simon’s a rat. No wait, he’s a mundane, rat, mundane, vampire, mundane, Shadowhunter. Also, Jon Cartwright the 34th.
Hatred of anything to do with Zara Dearborn, ducks, Zara Dearborn, the Cohort, Zara Dearborn, other random stuff, Zara Dearborn.
Ave atque vale.
Ducking glass moles.
Why Magnus Bane is the best, and why Malec is the best.
Jace Herondale Lightwood Wayland Morgenstern aka Jace what-the-duck-is-his-surname.
True.

Actually, there are lots of other people called ‘Will’ in fiction. For example, Will Treaty, Will Solace, the Will in Divergent.
I’ll reply when I’ve got over the mention of Will stealing a boat. And also imagining what would have happened if he’d seen ducks in the Thames.
It could easily be an intentional reference, although there’s a small chance that it’s just a coincidence. There’s only a one letter difference between Dawn Treader and Dawn Trader, and when saying it, there’s almost none.
I’m not even going to try because I’m terrible at drawing and all the others are just too amazing for me to even come close.
I’m going to try to do it, and hopefully I’ll find time to.
Sebastian. I would rather jump into a pond full of ducks than have Sebastian.
I wish they were, but then sometimes I think but then demons, vampires, werewolves and so on would exist as well.
But all the stories are true, which could hint that they do exist.
Happy birthday! I love that song as well (I also love annoying my friends by singing it)!
